The Mountain Home Officers' Spouses' Club is a non-profit organization. This website exists solely for the purpose
of distributing information to the members of the MHOSC and the Mountain Home Air Force Base communities.
The views on this site do not represent those of the United States Air Force.

The funds raised by the MHOSC through the Thrift Shop, the enormously successful and popular
Annual Auction, combined with the philanthropy efforts of the Mountain Home AFB Enlisted
Spouses' Club have made a huge difference in our local community.

Scholarship Awards - In May 2010 the MHOSC, along with the MHESC and the agents in the
Mountain Home First Command Financial Planning office, were able to award $29,000 in college
scholarships.

Recipients were high school seniors, military spouses and Vo-Tech students. A new scholarship
was also created in 2010 for returning college students.

The only requirement is that applicants be holders of a valid military or dependant's ID card. The
funds that the OSC contributed to this rewarding endeavor were certainly well-earned and
well-spent!

Community Organizations - Throughout the year, the MHOSC has donated funds to local and
military organizations in need. Some of the organizations that benefited from our efforts in 2010
included: Air Force Village, Airmen's Attic, Fisher House, National Military Family Association,
Military Child Education Coalition, Mountain Home AFB Youth Center, Mountain Home Arts
Council, Mountain Home Base Primary Computer Lab, Mountain Home ISD Gifted and Talented,
Mountain Home HS Speech and Debate, My Sister's Closet, Tragedy Assistance Program for
Survivors, and more!
